Diamond Resorts Investing in St. Louis.

Diamond Resorts is turning a hotel in St Louis into a timeshare destination. Diamond has purchased six floors of the 29 storey City Place Hotel and will convert the six floors into luxury timeshare apartments. Once the redesign is complete in 2020, City Place Tower will be Diamond’s flagship urban destination.

Are Diamond Resorts about to go public?

Diamond Resorts owns a network of 379 vacation destinations in 35 countries around the world and sells vacation ownership points. In June 2016, Apollo Global Management made a successful offer to purchase Diamond Resorts International. On January 18th 2018, the company underwent a brand refresh, updating its logo and officially dropped the “International” from its name, and became known as Diamond Resorts. The following news has broken, Diamond Resorts Europe will be closing select sales offices within Malaga and Tenerife.

Sales teams in both Malaga and Tenerife have been advised to seek advice from solicitors as there will be redundancies across the teams.

We have recently become aware of a letter sent out to Diamond Resorts International (DRI) clients with maintenance fee demands for 2017/18.

The letter warns DRI owners to be aware of claims companies. The content of the letter is merely a scaremongering exercise to deter owners from terminating their memberships with DRI.

Billion dollar lawsuit filed against Diamond Resorts International

There have been many judgements entered against companies for the sale of timeshare products. The majority of cases have, thus far, been issued within Spain. So far, the Supreme Court are said to have made 42 rulings in timeshare release matters.
